‘Seub – San Lanna’
a signature annual festival organized by Lanna Wisdom School in partnership with many local organizations. (Free admission)
An event in which you will enjoy the charm of local wisdom such as a local medical, herbal, arts & crafts, panel discussions on various topics, as well as local food that slowly disappear with a modern life.
Not only beautiful traditional Northern Thai performances & live music all day long but this year with a theme of
‘Contemporary’ will provide a stage for an active contemporary local artist to present they works:
Briefly:
1 April
4 pm -Traditional Northern Thai tradition dance and music,
7 pm – “Sor” a local folk song concert, even if you do not understand the words you’ll enjoy the fun energy! (more or less like Rap in northern thai language)
2 April
4 pm – Asia Topia Performance Art,
6 pm – Contemporary Lanna Music
7 pm – Mini concert by famous Chiangmai Singer/artist Soontaree Vechanont and Add – Panutat Apichanatong
8 pm – A contemporary dance performance by Waewdow Sirisook & Supreeda Wongsangsee
(Waewdao Sirisook is now preparing her new production ‘Lanna Dream’ a dance theatre performance on 23 – 24 April)
3 April
4 pm – Traditional offering Ceremony
6 pm – Contemporary performance by Mongfort Collage
7 pm – Mini Concert by memorial of Jarun Manopeth
8 pm – A contemporary shadow performance by The Wandering Moon Performing Art
